Enjoy the stunning views of mountains, valleys, vineyards and orchards, stop at a farm stall to taste some local delicacies before reaching Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world and the gateway to the amazing Cango Caves.
You can join an optional Elephant Observation Nature Bush Walk (own expense) in the early morning to follow and observe three orphaned elephants, rescued from poachers, in their natural habitat. Later, you'll enjoy a relaxing canoe ride along the reed-lined riverbanks in Wilderness and observe the variety of birds in the area. The adventure reaches its peak at Bloukrans Bridge, the world's highest commercial bridge bungy jump where you may dare to plunge 216m down with nothing but an elastic cord. If you're not up for the bungy jump, you can opt for a leisurely walk in nature near the bridge or watch the jumpers from the bridge. Spend the evening in Sedgefield, where you can dine at local restaurants. You will overnight at the PiliPili Beach House or similar accommodation, depending on availability.
Experience the thrill of a 4x4 safari in a malaria-free private game reserve, where you can see giraffe, white rhino, kudu, lion, elephant, zebra, wildebeest and more. An experienced game ranger can guide you on the safari and on a short ±5 min bush walk, where you can get closer to nature and learn about the wildlife, plants and tracks. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Garden Route as you return to Cape Town by late afternoon or early evening (between 17:00 and 21:00 depending on traffic and drop-off address). Return Cape Town.
