Explore the historic “City of Oaks” on a guided walking tour, admiring its oak-lined streets, Cape Dutch architecture, and vibrant local culture. Travel over the scenic Hellshoogte Pass to reach Franschhoek, a picturesque valley known for its French heritage, vineyards, and breathtaking mountain views. Enjoy another wine tasting and some time in this charming town. En route, stop at Drakenstein Prison, where Nelson Mandela was released in 1990. Learn about his final days in prison and the site's global historical significance. Continue to Paarl, famous for its award-winning Shiraz and stunning landscapes.
